Every person with Down syndrome has a wide range of strengths and faces different challenges. Our behavioral health team excels at building on those strengths and helping children and families overcome challenges. We work closely with families to identify goals and areas of need to improve the quality of life of children and their families.

At the Sie Center for Down Syndrome, we have psychologists, psychiatrists and other experts in supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of children and adolescents with Down syndrome. Our behavioral health team members work closely with other specialists at the Sie Center and across the hospital including education experts, speech and occupational therapists, and social workers.
