NICU Patient Stories: Where Are They Now?
Providing hope, healing and expertise for our smallest and most vulnerable patients.
At Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Fetal Care Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Heart Institute, we specialize in caring for critically ill newborns before birth and during their first days, weeks and months. But our goal is that they have many, many healthy months and years after that. Thanks to our dedicated care team and advanced capabilities, many of these babies go on to live rich, full lives.
From prematurity to complex heart conditions to breathing issues and more, we have helped thousands of babies overcome severe conditions. Keep reading to learn where some of those babies are today and see how far they have come.
