About the Down Syndrome Behavioral Health Collaborative

For families facing emotional and behavioral challenges, the Down Syndrome Behavioral Health Collaborative provides a wealth of care and support for individuals with Down syndrome. In collaboration with the Anna and John J. Sie Center for Down Syndrome, we help people with Down syndrome and their families thrive. Anyone seeking Down syndrome behavioral health care should first contact the experts at the Sie Center.

The goal of our behavioral health program is to increase access to resources and improve the quality of life for people with Down syndrome and their families by:

  • Providing in-person and virtual behavioral health support to caregivers of children and young adults with Down syndrome (from birth to 25 years old) living in the state of Colorado
  • Training community providers to support those with Down syndrome

Who we treat at the Down Syndrome Behavioral Health Collaborative

We care for children and young adults with Down syndrome from birth through age 25. Our family-centered services help children, parents, siblings and other caregivers learn the tools they need to thrive.

Our experts also work with members of the community by request, helping them learn how to best support those with Down syndrome. We’ve teamed up with community centered boards, school districts and parent support organizations to expand our impact and foster inclusive environments.

Why choose the Down Syndrome Behavioral Health Collaborative for care?

Our team is nationally and internationally recognized for providing evidence-based behavioral health care to people with Down syndrome. We care not just for your child, but your whole family to give everyone the support and resources they need.
