Experience and background

I work with children and their families, specializing in concerns with development, social interactions, and behavior. I assess to determine if a diagnosis, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, is appropriate. I also provide evidence-based intervention for families who have concerns around their young child's presentation, directing our Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) program.

My research focuses on how to best support families with young children. In addition, I work to determine how to best help professionals learn to work effectively with young children and their families.

For Referring Providers:
My research has focused on protective and risk factors in autism spectrum disorders, as well as active ingredients in interventions and effective methods for dissemination.
