I strive to provide the highest standard of care while also connecting on a human level with patients and families.
Navigating the healthcare system and complex disease can be frustrating, and at times scary. I work to provide clear information about your child's eyes to ensure everyone has a full understanding of our treatment goals.
Maximizing vision for children with eye disease is often a team effort. We will discuss diagnosis and treatment options in the clinic, but our treatments are largely implemented outside of the clinic. This means that we need to understand each other's strengths in order to work together toward the best possible outcome.

Experience and background
My clinical interests include the surgical and nonsurgical management of pediatric and adult strabismus. My practice incorporates the use of adjustable sutures, when needed, to maximize outcomes for individuals with complex strabismus.
Further, I am interested in the management of patients with amblyopia, retinopathy of prematurity, nasolacrimal duct obstruction, and refractive pathology (myopia, astigmatism, and hyperopia), among other pediatric eye conditions.
