My care philosophy
The diagnosis I treat are complex and frightening at times. I believe cancer affects the whole family, thus my focus is on all members-patient, siblings and parents, other family members as well as friends. One of my main goals is to find fun when we can and normalize the child's life as best as we can. I find it a privilege to be a part of the person's journey through cancer.

Experience and background
I mainly see children, adolescents and young adults with acute leukemias and non Hodgkin's lymphoma. I also specialized in children with Down Syndrome and blood cancers or blood abnormalities.

Chloe
Chloe started high school by getting blind-sided by a leukemia diagnosis. As her primary oncologist, Dr. Maloney was a key part of Chloe’s healing journey. At Chloe’s high school graduation, her friends thanked Dr. Maloney for saving their friend, who is now cancer free.
