In Maternal-Fetal Medicine, optimizing medical care takes not only being an expert in the field but also understanding that complicated pregnancies are not just a "medical issue". I strive to work as a team with my patients (and their families) to ensure that the plan we make together works for them. I aim to provide patient centered care with an understanding that every patient and their family is unique, and the same plan doesn't work for every person. I vow to provide equitable care for all people regardless of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or other circumstances. I will forever celebrate what makes each person who they are. Patients should always feel that they have a voice and it is my goal to ensure that they feel heard and feel central in all plans that we make together.
