My care philosophy

As a pediatric nurse practitioner caring for complex patients with single ventricle heart disease, my goal is to provide high quality, efficient, and family focused care to all of my patients. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and enjoy working together to provide unique care to each individual.

Experience and background

My clinical interests include the special population of patients with single ventricle heart disease, such as with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. I follow patients between the stages of palliative surgery and enjoy the continuity of following my patients closely. I am lucky to work with a great team of nurses, cardiologists, dietitians, feeding and physical therapists, psychologists and social workers to deliver high quality care. I am interested in various quality initiatives to improve outcomes for those living with single ventricle heart disease and to help guide our care.
