Our Locum Tenens Program provides coverage for primary care physicians while they are away, so that their patients continue to receive seamless, high-quality care.  

Our locum tenens service has provided pediatric physician support in pediatric and family medicine practices across Colorado and Wyoming since 1994. As the only locum tenens program embedded in a children's hospital nationwide, we provide unparallelled pediatric integration, continuity of care and institutional alignment.

Get coverage for your pediatric practice 

We provide short-term outpatient pediatric coverage when you need it the most. All our physicians are board-certified and fully credentialed members of Children’s Colorado. They are covered under Children’s Colorado’s professional liability insurance and come fully prepared with state licenses, DEA registration, PALS certification and experience with common electronic health record systems. Our long‑standing experience ensures continuity, expertise and a seamless extension of your team.

This coverage is ideal for vacations, holidays, family leave, short-term provider absences or other PTO needs. For added flexibility, we also offer telemedicine services.
